Pick your store. Ice fishing hats are not exactly the hallmark of fashion. Function, not fashion, rules the day. You need to stay warm and that is about all there is to it. You will probably have to go to a specialty store if you want to find a specific hat made for ice fishing.

Keep your options open. If you cannot find a specialty retailer, you may have to opt for the gigantic super center that probably does not carry specific ice fishing hats. They probably will, however, carry warm wooly hunter caps which will work just fine.
