Consult your physician before beginning any diet or workout program.

Remove soda, processed foods, all those evil snack foods and the more deadly sweets from your house immediately. If they aren't there you can't eat them.

Eat six to eight small meals a day to rev up your metabolism and help with weight loss.

Plan all meals and snacks as far in advance as possible. If you know what you're going to eat and when you're going to eat it you're less likely to snack.

Do lots of cardio activity. To get that slim and sexy summer body you need to do a brutal cardio workout for 30 to 45 minutes a day six days a week. You should feel like you worked as hard as you could at the end of your workout.

Drink plenty of water. Drink at least eight to ten cups of water a day but as you become more active you may find you need even more water than that to stay hydrated, especially in the summer.

Change your workout routine every six to eight weeks. Your body will adjust to a workout and you won't continue to lose weight unless you continuously adjust your workout.
