Remember that religious ceremonies can be performed, but they do not acknowledge you as a married couple in Mexico or any other place in the world. They are only considered a private ceremony for couples to celebrate their love.

Present your Mexican entry and tourist visa to the government so they are aware of your travel obligations and return date. The government likes to know that you will be returning to your country after you are married.

Get blood tests done in Mexico and 14 days before the wedding. Also get a doctor's note for both individuals to proclaim you are both healthy parties.

6
Invite some friends or family down with you when you plan to get married. You will need four witnesses there when you get married. Non-Mexican witnesses must show a passport and visa, while Mexican witnesses can show only their passport.
