The Cayman Islands is a combination of modern lifestyle with crystal blue water and palm trees. It has become a popular destination with couples all over the world and is growing as a top wedding destination. The Cayman Islands is safe and provides numerous activities for visitors to get involved in. There are some good things to know about before you plan your wedding in the Cayman Islands.

Step1
Make sure you bring at least $200 USD for your marriage license. It will probably be a good idea to bring more money just in case any surprising fees occur during the planning of the wedding.
Step2
Take with you all divorce and death certificates if you were previously married or widowed. The Cayman Island government will want to see these documents so that they know you are no longer married at the time of marriage.
Step3
Bring identification and passports. The Cayman Island Government will need to see that you are both over 18 years old at the time of the marriage and that you are returning to your country. Bring your return tickets as well when applying for the marriage license.
Step4
Produce a Cayman Islands International Immigration Pink Slip to show your proof of entry into the Cayman Islands.
Step5
Arrange for a non-resident marriage license and marriage officer. Be sure to book the marriage officer first. Marriage licenses can be given to a couple on the same day they apply for their marriage license.
Step6
Make sure you have two witnesses that are present during the ceremony. The Cayman Island requires you have witnesses to get married in the Cayman Islands.
