Buy your start-up kit from Usborne. Every month Usborne makes available a start-up kit for $200.00 plus shipping and handling. The kit contains a supply of books to show and business supplies.
Step2
Start with home shows. These are informal gatherings where a hostess will invite her friends and family to her home. You can show them the books, discuss some of the best-selling ones and the hostess will earn free books based on the sales of the show.
Step3
Work as little or as much as you want. There are no monthly minimums as an Usborne Books at Home consultant.
Step4
Contact your supervisor, your sponsor or the home office if you need help when you first start out as an Usborne Books at Home consultant.
Step5
Reach certain incentives within the first 12 weeks that you are a consultant and you will be eligible for free books or to buy books at a reduced price. For example, if you recruit a new consultant during your first 12 weeks, you're entitled to $50.00 in free books.
