How to Find Friends From High School on MySpace

Turning your MySpace page into a makeshift high school reunion is easy if you know how to find old high school classmates by using MySpace's search engine. With so many people using MySpace as a way to communicate, it's easy to find people you might have lost touch with many years ago. To learn how to find friends from high school on MySpace, follow these steps.

Instructions

    • 1

Log on to your MySpace account. If you don't have a MySpace account, create one, because you must join to be able to find friends from high school.

    • 2

Click on the "Search" button at the top of the page.

    • 3

Scroll down to the Classmate Finder in the middle of the page and type in your school name, country and state. Click "Find."

    • 4

Browse through the profiles listed or narrow your search to a graduation year by selecting the year in the box above the profiles. You can also narrow your search by age and marital status.

    • 5

Click on the profiles of people you remember or recognize, and click the "Add to friends" button, usually on the left side of the screen. This will send a friend request to that person. Once they approve the friend request, they will be added to your friend list.

Tips & Warnings

  • Once you have all of your friends from high school assembled, send out bulletins suggesting gatherings, or start up an e-mail list to catch up.

  • Some of your former high school classmates might not have added the high school to their profile, so you will not be able to find them using this function.
