1
Cut a piece of green, black or red construction paper, so that it is the length of a toilet paper tube. The width should be enough to wrap around the exterior of the toilet paper tube.
-
2
Wrap the construction paper around the toilet paper tube and secure it to the tube with glue or tape.
-
-
3
Cut out two pieces of tissue paper, one yellow and one orange, so that each is a square foot.
-
4
Lay the orange tissue paper on top of the yellow tissue paper so that the two pieces are at a 45 degree angle to each other.
-
5
Place your finger in the middle of the piece of tissue paper and then pull the sides up around your hand.
-
6
Pull your hand out and then carefully push the tissue paper into the toilet paper roll. It may be helpful to use a pen or pencil to do this.
-
7
Add some small candy treats to the inside of the tissue paper and then tie the paper off with string. Fluff the tissue paper above the tie so that it resembles a flame in your Kwanzaa candle.
