Blogs exist for almost every holiday or event imaginable. While many bloggers celebrate Thanksgiving with a post or series of posts, there are not as many blogs devoted solely to the Thanksgiving holiday. However, a blog devoted to Thanksgiving is only a few simple steps away.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

Discuss your favorite parts of the holiday. Many blogs are successful because they are fun to read. By tailoring your Thanksgiving blog to the parts of the holiday you enjoy most, you will probably write more thoughtful blog entries and reach a larger audience.

  2. Step 2

Share personal anecdotes. Bloggers that share personal stories and remembrances are often the most popular. Be sure to write about your own Thanksgiving memories, funny stories and touching moments, as those are often the most universal and enjoyable posts.

  3. Step 3

Collect recipes. For many people, Thanksgiving is largely about the feast. As a result, it's a good idea to share Thanksgiving recipes that you have enjoyed personally or that you think would be delicious. Try to cover all areas of a Thanksgiving meal, from turkey to side dishes to dessert.

  4. Step 4

Offer tips for entertaining. Alongside the food, goes the need to entertain for Thanksgiving. Readers often scour blogs looking for fun entertainment and decorating ideas for the holiday, so be sure to recommend things that have worked for you, or great tips you've gleaned elsewhere.

  5. Step 5

Offer up your own thanks. The essence of Thanksgiving is the need to give thanks for the things in our lives. Be sure to write up your own posts of thanks and thanksgiving. When the holiday is over, if you're so moved, you could even maintain a blog about gratitude and thanks throughout the rest of the year.
