1
Buy 100 percent pure, refined emu oil. This oil will yield the best results.

2
Massage 1 or 2 drops of emu oil into the scarred tissue 2 or 3 times daily. You can break down the tissue by massaging the scar in every direction (horizontally, vertically and in a circular motion).

Store your emu oil in a cool, dark place. Since emu oil is a natural oil, it will slowly deteriorate over time. It can last several months if you store it properly.

Tips & Warnings
Emu oil may make your skin feel greasy. Wait a few moments before wiping it off. It will absorb quickly into the skin.
Although emu oil can be applied at anytime, you will get the best results when you apply it shortly after a bath or shower.
Consult your doctor before starting any scar treatment regimen.
When applying emu oil to the skin, pour the oil on your hand rather than sticking your finger into the jar. This will help prevent rancidity.
