How to Use iTunes
ITunes can help you arrange and organize your music. You can keep your music organized in alphabetical order by song title, time, artist, album or genre. Or arrange your music in playlists. The following steps will help you use iTunes.

Import music from your music collection. Put the CD into the reader on your computer. ITunes will recognize the disk as an audio CD and iTunes will ask you if you would like to import this CD. Click "Yes" and the information from the CD as well as the songs will copy to your computer.

Purchase music via the iTunes Store by clicking on the green bag with iTunes Store written next to it. ITunes will take you within the program to the Store. Here you can buy individual songs, or albums, as well as music videos, movies, podcasts and audiobooks.

Set up an express check out with the Store using a credit card. This is the only way you can purchase items in the Store. Whenever you click the "buy" button, the Store will prompt you to enter your ID and password to make sure you are the one making the purchase.

Arrange your digital music library by clicking on the appropriate format you wish to use. For example, click on "Artist" if you want your library to be arranged alphabetically by artist.

Decide the play order of your music. Click on "File" then "New Playlist" if you want to put your songs in playlists. Click "Party Shuffle" and iTunes will shuffle the songs in your playlists. The shuffle feature can also be done for your library by clicking on the "Crossed Arrows" on the bottom left hand of the screen.

Tips & Warnings
After every purchase, you will be sent a confirmation email.
ITunes will also download the album cover via the Store. The covers can be seen depending on which view you pick from the three options on the top right of the screen.
The iTunes program comes with any iPod for Windows or Macs and can also be downloaded on Apples website for free.
Do not give out your ID or password. If you find any discrepancies on your credit card statement from iTunes, call them immediately to block the account.
