Instructions

  1. Arrive at Story Land Early

    • 1

Order your tickets in advance through the Story Land website or by calling (603) 383-4186. This will save you time standing in line.

    • 2

Arrive at Story Land between 8:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. to beat the long lines that form quickly.

    • 3

Pick up a map of the park at the entrance booth so you know where to go.

Ride the Most Popular Attractions First

    • 4

Visit the antique car ride, just beyond the main entrance, first. It is the most popular attraction and usually has an hour-plus waiting line later in the day. Unlike some attractions, the line for the Antique Cars is very slow moving.

    • 5

Take a ride on the Bamboo Chutes, another popular attraction on the west side of the park. This popular attraction has long lines throughout the day.

    • 6

Chill out on the Polar Coaster, a kid-friendly roller coaster that adults can enjoy as well.

    Visit the Classic Rides

    • 7

Fly on a Dutch Shoe, one of the oldest (and most fun) rides at Story Land.

    • 8

Walk to the Antique Carousel, just around the corner from the Flying Dutch Shoe.

    • 9

Take a spin in Alice's Teacups just over the hill from the Carousel.

    Take a Break

    • 10

Visit Professor Bigglestep's Loopy Laboratory, where kids can shoot foam balls out of industrial strength vacuum hoses. Parents can sit and relax in the cool shade of the lab.

    • 11

Check out one of the many theatrical shows offered at Story Land, including the Farm Follies or the Tales of Wonder Theater.

    • 12

Feed the ducks at the pond in the center of Story Land. The mallard ducks that call Story Land home in the summer love to eat visitor's popcorn.

    • 13

Hijack a pirate ship. A fun attraction in which visitors can just sit back and relax is the Buccaneer Pirate Ship. Other fun boat rides include the Story Land Queen, a graceful swan-shaped cruiser.

    Cool Off

    • 14

Visit the Oceans of Fun Sprayground, where kids can play among misting water fountains, shoot each other with water guns or play in the giant submarine.

    • 15

Step inside one of the many misting tents that are set up about the park. These tents are a welcome relief on hot, muggy summer days.

    • 16

Take a ride on Dr. Geyser's Remarkable Raft Ride. Guests are sure to cool off on this watery attraction, complete with rainbows and rain clouds.
