Ebooks are one of the fastest ways to get information online. Writers are finding that by marketing and selling their information in ebook form, they can sell their books faster and easier than going through a traditional publisher. But to get an ebook sold, sellers have to use viral marketing to get potential customers interested in their ebooks.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

Attract traffic by getting word of mouth recommendations. Supply a form that allows people to send your ebook's website link to their friends. Allow them to send a personalized message, or send your own marketing message with the link to make the message viral.

  2. Step 2

Offer items for free to attract people to your ebook's website. Offer a sign-up sheet for people who want to receive a free newsletter, ezine or ebook. Offer sign-ups with free quality content as well as promotions for your products.

  3. Step 3

Get subscribers to suggest your free items to their friends. Provide a form for subscribers to send their friends viral marketing email about your free content.

  4. Step 4

Write promotional articles that offer information as well as links to your website or ebooks. Submit the articles to article directories, third-party sites and ezine publishers to tap into this viral marketing sector. Allow others to reprint the articles as long as they keep your promotional links in the reprinted articles.

  5. Step 5

Utilize affiliate programs to get others to promote and sell your products. Offer high incentives to affiliates to sell your items to get as many as possible. Use a third-party affiliate management system to attract affiliates and to get their sales tracked and paid.
