When you drive down the road, it's easy to see that sedans are popular cars. You like your sedan, but you want it to be different from the Jones' sedan. It takes time and money, but you are ready to pimp your sedan.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Change out the body panels on the sedan. Take off your grill, bumpers and lower side panels to prepare your car. Purchase an aftermarket fabrication kit to make your sedan stand out. This is an easy way to change the look of your car without having to make your own mold for these parts.

  2. Step 2

Paint your sedan. Pick your favorite color combination and two-tone the sedan. Put on extra clear coats and buff the paint until you see your reflection clearly. You may need to sandblast the car before painting it, depending on the kit that you use.

  3. Step 3

Pimp your tires or rims to get a new look for the wheels of the sedan. Buy larger tires with a 22-inch rim, or add chrome rims with seven spokes. Accent the rims with a dark, low-profile performance rubber. You could also choose to leave the rims and use whitewall tires.

  4. Step 4

Install entertainment systems. A pimped-out sedan offers its passengers extra amenities. Install 9-inch monitors into the back of the front seat headrests. Modify your dashboard to hold a DVD player. Add a game station to your center console. Connect the entertainment systems.

  5. Step 5

Tint your windows to finish your pimp. You want the windows to be noticeably darker, but you need to check with your state laws on what level tint is allowed and on what windows.

Tips & Warnings
  • Even using a kit, you'll need to make minor adjustments to get a smooth fit.
  • You'll need to reuse the screws, so be careful not to strip them when you take off parts.
