1
Decide which vegetables you want to juice. Wash all the vegetables thoroughly to remove any pesticides, fertilizers or dirt.
-
2
Remove stems and large pits from your vegetables. The juicing machine is not able to process these parts and they can damage the juicer's blades or screen.
-
-
3
Turn on the juicing machine and let it run for at least 10 seconds before you feed in the vegetables. This allows the blades to come up to maximum speed and prevents the machine from stalling when you feed the vegetables into the chute.
-
4
Place a glass underneath the juicer's spout to collect the vegetable juice.
-
5
Roll leafy green vegetables into a ball and then feed into the chute. Use a slow, steady pressure on the pusher while feeding. Alternate leafy greens with harder vegetables to maximize juice extraction.
-
6
Feed soft vegetables into the juicer slowly as they have a tendency to clog the screen. Pause between pieces of soft vegetables or alternate between soft and hard vegetables so you don't clog the screen.
-
7
Serve vegetable juice immediately. The juice tastes best when it is fresh and can lose vitamins over time.
