Step 1
Look at the size of the feed chute on juicers before you buy. The mouth of the feed chute determines the size of ingredients you can fit in the juicer. A small diameter feed chute means more prep time to cut the produce into small pieces.
-
Step 2
Take apart juicers at the store to determine how you can clean the internal parts. See whether there are lots of nooks and crannies where pulp can get stuck, if the parts come apart and fit back together easily and if the parts are dishwasher-safe.
-
Step 3
Listen to the juicer's running motor in the store, if possible, to see if it is too loud.
-
Step 4
Compare prices for juicers with all the features you decide on before you decide which juicer to buy. There are many makes and models available both in stores and on the Internet.
