Here's a Santa ornament that's as easy to make as it is cute. You can hang them on the Christmas tree or attach them to the tops of your presents.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Plastic or wooden craft spoon
  • Red felt
  • White fur material
  • Wiggly eyes
  • Small white pom-pom
  • String
  1. Step 1

Cut a hat out of red felt, making sure the hat is a little longer than the handle of the spoon. Glue the seams of the hat together so there is a front, back and opening at the bottom to put on Santa's head.

  2. Step 2

Cut 2 pieces of white fur. The first piece should be rectangular, about the size of the bottom of the hat. Glue the first piece to the bottom of the hat. Cut the second piece in the shape of a triangle to use for Santa's beard.

  3. Step 3

Glue the wiggly eyes to the spoon just below the fur. Glue the beard to the spoon below the eyes.

  4. Step 4

Add a small white pom-pom to the top of the hat with glue. Make a small loop with string, and glue it to the back of the hat for hanging on the tree.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use an old light bulb instead of the spoon. Glue on the same things to make Santa's head.
  • Use a glitter pen to outline Santa's hat and beard. This will make your ornament glisten in the lights on the tree.
