This wine is not as overbearing as a Cabernet Sauvignon. As a result, it pairs very well with a variety of foods.
If aging the wine is your goal, choose a blend. Cabernet Franc is blended with Bordeaux and Cabernet Sauvignon, both of which take to aging.
Don't choose Cabernet Franc if you are looking for a heavy-bodied, fully tannic red wine. It is neither of these things. Go with a Cabernet Sauvignon or Bordeaux instead.
