Donate to the Christmas Spirit Foundation. One of the Foundation's giving programs is Trees for Troops. They have other Christmas related programs that give to needy children and people who survive the affects of a disaster.

Find the National Christmas Tree Association website for more information. Real Trees for Troops donated 11,000 trees to troops and their families in one year alone.

Help the organization give trees to troops in Iraq, Afghanistan and other countries. Contribute trees to the families who live in the United States.

Support the Real Trees for Troops program by donating money for the purchase and delivery of real Christmas trees.

Contact your local Christmas tree grower to see if they are interested in getting involved with the project. Set up a fund raiser with their help in your town.

Step 6
Ask organizations in your community if they would be interested in sponsoring a fund raiser for Trees for Troops. Get others involved to make one big donation to the Christmas Spirit Foundation.

on 10/11/2008 You can donate a real live two foot tree to a specific troop memember through Support Military Heroes. They include battery opeated lighs and ornaments. This is the home of Operation Christmas Tree.
