If you love the taste of Irish whiskey but are looking for a little change, then you must try an Irish Shillelagh. With a quick toss of a few ingredients in the blender, you'll have your own personal St. Patty's day party. Here's a great recipe for an Irish Shillelagh.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Blender
  • 5 ice cubes
  • 2 oz. Irish whiskey
  • 1/2 oz. sloe gin
  • 1/2 oz white rum
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 peach
  • Raspberries (garnish)
  • Knife
  • Splash of lemon juice
  1. Step 1

Chill your highball glass for about 30 minutes before mixing the drink.

  2. Step 2

Pit and chop the half of a peach finely. (This will aid in the mixing during the blending process.)

  3. Step 3

Combine ice cubes, whiskey, lemon juice, sugar, white rum, sloe gin and chopped peach in the blender. Blend until smooth.

  4. Step 4

Pour the drink into your chilled highball glass.

  5. Step 5

Garnish the drink with a few raspberries either on a toothpick or in the drink. (They will sit on top at first, then slowly move to the bottom as the drink warms and the ice melts.) Now go get your Shillelagh on.
