A fun activity to do during the winter is a snowball fight. You can have an impromptu snowball fight that generally turns into loose snow flying through the air, or you can organize the battle into a true snowball event.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Snow
  • Winter clothing
  • Serving spoon
  1. Step 1

Challenge your opponent to a snowball fight. Meet at a set time and place, and if there will be a group of you, decide who is on which team.

  2. Step 2

Establish rules once your challenge has been accepted so you will be safe and have fun during the snowball fight. You must have a phrase that you can say if you actually get hurt by a snowball and need to stop the fight. Snowballs should be made of snow and snow only.

  3. Step 3

Build a snow fort. You need a shelter to hide behind when the snowballs start flying. A good snow fort can help you stay warm and provide a good barricade.

  4. Step 4

Make your snowballs. If you want an advantage over your opponent, make your snowballs ahead of time. This way you can focus on aiming your snowballs instead of trying to make snowballs while dodging incoming snowballs. Stack your snowballs within reach.

  5. Step 5

Use a serving spoon to throw your snowballs. Sometimes the only way to win a snowball fight is to outlast your opponent. Generally the person who stays the warmest the longest is the winner. Use a serving spoon or a large spoon to throw your snowballs. This will keep your hands from getting wet and cold.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't leave your snowballs unattended, or your opponent may steal them.
