Things You'll Need:
- Pole
- Party invitations
- Snacks and drinks
-
Step 1
Make sure your friends are okay with attending a pole dance party. Some may feel uncomfortable performing in front of others or they just think the idea is downright crude.
-
Step 2
Contact a pole dance studio in your area or search for one on the web. PoleLotofFun.com and PoleDivas.com are businesses that send representatives to your home for parties. You will be surprised at how many services are available to you once you start looking.
-
Step 3
Call your local adult toy store and see if they know of any pole dance studios. They may also carry removable poles that you can rent or buy for home use. Order a pole off the Internet from sites such as Bachelorette.com.
-
Step 4
Send out cute party invitations to your friends. Find some risque girls' night out invitations on bachelorette websites. No decorations are necessary as the pole speaks for itself.
-
Step 5
Tell your guests to wear comfortable clothes such as yoga pants and t-shirts.
-
Step 6
Use your imagination when it comes to your snacks and drinks. Pick up some chocolate-dipped pretzels from a candy store for your "poles." Make up a batch of your favorite frozen "polar" beverage.
-
Step 7
Indulge in a drink or two before the dancing begins. Your guests will be more fun and relaxed if they have a drink before the show begins.

on 12/10/2008 PLEASE, make sure the instructor coming in is a real pole dance instructor with at LEAST six months of training. Ask how long they have been dancing, how long they have been teaching. Also make sure they are using a professional pole, not a "peek-a-boo" type pole.

on 6/16/2008 You can host your own pole party by going to PartyGalPole.com and we'll bring everything you need to have a blast with your friends!
I love the tips on the food ideas! Very creative!
Also be sure NOT to wear any lotions! They can make the pole slippery and nobody wants to lose their grip on the pole!
