1
Purchase a cuticle cream from a retail store. There are many brands to consider and many work well if used daily.
-
2
Choose a cuticle cream that contains natural oils such as safflower, sweet almond or passion flower. Oils can penetrate the skin while creams alone only hydrate the surface of the skin.
-
-
3
Try rubbing a bit of jojoba or vitamin E oil directly on your dry nail cuticles several times a day.
-
4
Saturate your hands and cuticles with the cream or oil before bedtime and slip on a pair of cotton gloves. Your hands and nails will look marvelous in the morning.
-
5
Mix together some mayonnaise, a tad of honey and a little lemon juice for a natural cure. Soak your hands for five minutes a day and then use some as an overnight treatment with gloves whenever your dry cuticles need a deep conditioning.

6
Drink several glasses of water a day to ensure your skin is well-hydrated. Eating a well-balanced nutritious diet also promotes healthy skin and nails.

Tips & Warnings
Try not to cut your cuticles. They provide a protective barrier from bacteria. Use a commercial cuticle-removing cream and an orange stick to push back your cuticles and remove the dead tissue.
