Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A MySpace account

  1. Step 1

Make sure you are signed into your MySpace account. Click on "Homepage" in the upper left corner if you are not there.

  2. Step 2

Click on the link under your profile picture that says "Pending Requests," which is one of four links in the section titled, "My Mail."

  3. Step 3

Click on the eighth link down from a set of links on the far left of the page that comes open. The new page will say "Mail Center Friend Request Manager" and the link will be titled, "Pending Requests."

  4. Step 4

Find the person whose request you want to cancel from among the list of people that will come up after you click "Pending Requests." This will be a list of people you have requested to add you to their friends' list who have not responded yet.

  5. Step 5

Click the box that says "Cancel Request" which will be one of two boxes beside this person's profile picture and user name on the list.

  6. Step 6

Click "Yes" when MySpace asks if you are sure you would like to cancel this request.
