Things You’ll Need:
- 1 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 large can pie cherries
- 1 12-ounce can cherries
- 1 large can crushed pineapple
- 2 tbsp. red food coloring
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 package orange Jell-o
- 8 to 10 bananas
- 1 cup pecans
- 1 large container whipped cream
- 3 pie crusts
- Sauce pan
Step1
Cook the pie crusts as directed on the packages. Allow the pie crusts to cool completely.
Step2
Separate the juice from the cherries in the pie topping.
Step3
Mix the juice from the cherries with the sugar and flour in a sauce pan.
Step4
Add the cherries, pineapple and red food coloring to the juice mix.
Step5
Place the mix on the stove over medium heat. Cook until it is thick while stirring the mixture continuously.
Step6
Add orange Jell-o and vanilla while the mixture is still hot.
Step7
Put in the dream pie mix in the refrigerator until cold and thick.
Step8
Combine the bananas and pecans with the mixture. Pour the mix into the three pie crust.
Step9
Mix the remaining pie cherries with the whipped cream. Top the pies with the whipped cream and cherry mix.
