Step 1
Seek help through a local church and/or self-help group. Many groups are available to help treat sexual addictions, with pornography being one of them.
-
Step 2
Put a blocker on your computer. If you do not have the self-control to stop looking at pornography online, simply upload a "watch dog" blocker, which is software that will block your access to explicit, sexual material.
-
Step 3
Keep your mind busy by indulging in books, music and movies. An idle mind will want to go look at porn; a busy mind will not have the time to think about pornographic material.
-
Step 4
Find a productive, healthy outlet for pent-up sexual energies. Go to the gym, go for a run or go join the local YMCA to play some basketball. Doing something physical for an extended period of time will relieve stress and anxiety-and will take your mind off of looking at pornography.

Step 5
See a psychologist if you have tried steps 1-4 and still have not experienced an improvement. Professional help will be the best route at this point and may offer some helpful suggestions on how to stop looking at pornography.
