Take NASCAR from the track to your home while competing against friends and family. Fantasy NASCAR is fun and easy to learn. The game is easily won if you are savvy in picking drivers for your team. Unlike other sports, the NASCAR scoring system is based on total points earned in more than 40 races. Start by learning basic NASCAR league rules.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Choose a mix of popular and lesser-known drivers for your fantasy NASCAR team. Most fantasy leagues on Yahoo Sports or ESPN assign a point or dollar value to each driver. This limits you from "stacking" the field and forces you to choose a wider range of drivers.

  2. Step 2

Research the track's records before each race. Find out which drivers have performed well at that specific track so you have a better idea of who is likely to do well that week.

  3. Step 3

Decide on drivers based on their performance record at each racetrack. Some drivers do well at short tracks while others do well at super speedways. Use the racers' histories to guess their future performance.

  4. Step 4

Check the weekly cut-off times for selecting your drivers. Some fantasy NASCAR leagues require you to select drivers before qualifying, while others allow you to select drivers until the race begins.
