Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Decide the reason you want use money management websites. Maybe you just want one site with links you to many other helpful sites that you can bookmark. Perhaps you want a site that's just full of advice either in the form of a single article or a message board filled with other people in similar situations to yours. Maybe it's software you're looking for. Figure this part out first before you go searching the web.
Step2
Define your online search. Yes, you may want help in all aspects of money management. But that's a pretty broad term to search for. Search for various sections of money management. Do separate searches for managing student loans and managing credit card debt.
Step3
Look for functions. You may want to find a website that comes full of functions like debt calculators where you can just plug in the numbers (what you owe, what you make, what your minimum payments have to be) and let the site do all the figuring for you.
Step4
Find one main portal. With a portal web site, you get links to a ton of different sites and you only need to save one page in your favorites and come back whenever you like. Get all your research done from a single page.
Step5
Buy your help. Paying an accountant or money management adviser can get very expensive. That's why someone came up with the bright idea to create software that does the same work as a specialist for a fraction of the cost. Try searching for some of that software that you can either pay and have mailed to your house or even purchase an instant download for more immediate assistance. Then you have the help whenever you need it and you don't have to spend an hour wading through links to get it.
Step6
Get your money management software for free or at a low cost. Look for freeware or shareware software that can help you with your money management at a low cost.
