From Quick Guide: Making Bread
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 loaf of frozen bread dough
  • 1 egg
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 C sugar
  • 1 tbsp. cinnamon
  • Cooking spray
  • Bread pan
  1. Step 1

Generously grease the inside of the bread pan.

  2. Step 2

Place the frozen dough in the refrigerator to thaw partially. The bread is easier to cut if it is still frozen part of the way through.

  3. Step 3

Melt the butter in the microwave or on the stove. Crack the egg and place it in a separate bowl. Spoon a small amount of hot butter and stir it quickly into the egg. Immediately pour the egg into the butter and stir. This keeps the egg from cooking in the butter. Stir in the cinnamon and sugar.

  4. Step 4

Remove the bread from the refrigerator. Cut the dough into one inch cubes. Dip each cube into the egg mixture and then place into the pan. Repeat this process until all the bread has been dipped and the pan is about halfway full.

  5. Step 5

Cover the bread with saran wrap or a clean towel and let it rise according to package directions.

  6. Step 6

Bake the bread at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until the top of the bread browns.

  7. Step 7

Take the pan out of the oven. Remove the pan and allow the bread to cool.
