Summertime brings raspberries in abundance. If you are lucky enough to have raspberries growing in your yard then you probably have buckets full. Now you have to figure out what to do with all of them. How about make a raspberry deserts? They are tasty and light on the stomach. Take a look at these simple ideas.

  1. Step 1

    Top some chocolate ice cream with fresh raspberries and whipped cream. It is a simple yet elegant desert.

  2. Step 2

    Puree fresh raspberries in a blender with vanilla ice cream to make a delicious smoothie. Top it with whip cream and whole raspberries. It makes a nice cold dessert for a very hot day.

  3. Step 3

    Add pureed raspberries to plain yogurt. Top with whole chilled raspberries for a tasty raspberry yogurt treat.

  4. Step 4

    Stir some blended raspberries into lemonade. Add ice and you have a very refreshing raspberry lemonade. It is the perfect beverage for a hot day.

  5. Step 5

    Cover the raspberries in a chocolate sauce. Place them in the refrigerator and let them firm up, then you can eat them like candy. This dessert can be very romantic.

  6. Step 6

    Put raspberries on top of vanilla frozen yogurt. Add some chopped nuts, whipped cream and a cherry. You have your very own frozen yogurt sundae.

  7. Step 7

    Combine raspberries with a variety of other berries such as blueberries and mix in some whipped cream. Serve it after a light lunch.
