Choosing a Bible School
Step1
Visit with your pastor or priest. The leader of your church will probably have suggestions of Bible schools affiliated with your religious denomination. He will probably also have information about those schools.
Step2
Phone, write or email the schools on your list. You will need to know if the schools are accredited and if they offer the programs of study that you want.
Step3
Narrow your choices. Based on the information that you have gathered, start to eliminate schools that don't offer the programs or religious points of view that you are looking for.
Step4
Visit the schools you would like to join. Attend an open house and take the time to speak with some of the current students and professors.
Step5
Make a list of your top three choices of schools.
Joining a Bible School
Step1
Fill out the online application form. Most Bible schools now have all of their forms available online. Don't leave any blank spaces. If a question does not apply to you, type "N/A" in that space.
Step2
Mail in your transcripts and references. You will have to request that your high school send your transcripts directly to the Bible school.
Step3
Write a careful essay. Most applications require an essay about your life, your experiences and your reasons for applying to their Bible school. Take the time to write a grammatically correct paper and proofread it before submitting it.
Step4
Wait. It may be several months before you receive a response.
