Instructions

1
Purchase the temporary tattoo. You can choose a simple or intricate design to place on your skin. East Coast Tattoo and Airbrush Body Art are two online sites that sell different temporary tattoo styles.
-
2
Clean the area that you want to place the tattoo on. Use a mild soap and water, and then dry the spot with a soft towel.
-
-
3
Place rubbing alcohol on the skin. Generously apply rubbing alcohol to the skin and place the temporary tattoo face down on top of that area.
-
4
Use alcohol to wet the back of the temporary tattoo. A cotton swab or ball can be soaked in alcohol and placed on the back of the design.
-
5
Keep the transfer paper on the skin for several minutes. You want to leave the paper on until the temporary tattoo has completely transferred to the skin. You can peel back a corner of the paper to check if it has applied properly.
-
6
Blot the tattoo gently to remove excess moisture. Your tattoo is done and will typically last about a week.
