Instructions

    • 1

Focus on the idea that dark colors will make a space smaller. You want to make the area of your eyelids closest to your nose appear smaller.

    • 2

Apply a subtle layer of a light shadow all over your eye lid. This shade should have a little shine and should be a cream, silver or pale pink shade.

    • 3

Select a darker shadow that compliments your skin tone and your outfit.

    • 4

Use a narrow shadow applicator with the darker color on it. Place the brush in the corner of your eye near your nose and pull the color out along your crease. The color should be more intense in the corner and become lighter further out.

    • 5

Repeat as needed on both eyes until the color is as dark as you want it. Be sure you are always starting in the corners and pulling out.

    • 6

Add an eye liner evenly along the entire top lash line, being sure to begin in the inner corners and pulling out.

    • 7

Coat your bottom and top eye lashes with mascara. Be sure to apply mascara to all your lashes and try to have a little bit of clumping on the lashes closest to your nose.
