We have all had those mornings when our eyes look as though they are pasted shut. Whether you stayed out too late the night before or you suffer from allergies or stress, tired eyes can bring down your entire appearance. Read on to learn how to brighten tired eyes.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Make a cup of tea with two green tea bags. Place the cup and tea bags in the refrigerator to cool. Then, place the tea bags on your eyes for 10 to 15 minutes. You must make sure the tea bags have cooled. If you place them over your eyes while they are still warm, they will increase blood flow to the area and make your eyes appear puffy. You can also place two chilled slices of cucumber over your eyes.

  2. Step 2

Use a yellow-toned, creamy concealer to cover any dark circles under your eyes.

  3. Step 3

Apply a light colored eye shadow to your lids. Stay away from anything dark--it will only make your eyes appear smaller.

  4. Step 4

Buy some white or beige eye liner. Use it to line the bottom rim of your eyes, right above your lower lashes.

  5. Step 5

Use an eyelash curler, especially when you have tired eyes. Curling your lashes will really open up your eyes and improve your entire look.

  6. Step 6

Drink plenty of water and eat a healthy diet. By staying healthy on the inside, you will brighten up your overall complexion.
