Step 1
Open iPhoto. When it opens the default is to open in the library, which gives a view of every image stored for the current user account. The library is organized by date and won't allow the user to reorganize the images.

Click the "+" button in the lower left corner of the iPhoto window. A window will slide down from the top.

Select "Album" from the pop-up list next to "New" and name the album.

Click the "Create" button. The screen will now go blank or populate with any photos that were selected at the time of the album creation.

Click on the "Library" option along the left side of the iPhoto window. This will bring up all the photos stored on the current user account.

Click on a photo to add to the new album and hold the mouse button down. Drag the photo from the library to the new album and release the mouse button. It is possible to select more than one photo at a time by holding down the "Shift" or "Command" key on the keyboard.

Step 7
Select the album once all the photos you want in the album have been moved. Now all those images will be available for viewing in the album. Move the photographs around in the album to put them in any preferred order. Reorganize images as often as needed or wanted.
