Little Orphan Annie was created by Harold Gray in 1924 and the comic strip first published in the Chicago Tribune. She was originally a boy named Otto, but it was changed because there were no comic strips back then that featured girls. People loved the character and she went on to have her own radio show, Broadway musical and two movies. Be her biggest fan by following these steps.
