Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Learn the history of Donald Duck. Make sure you know why he wears the sailor suit (he is in the military) and what his middle name is (Fauntleroy). Also be aware of his first appearance in The Wise Little Hen in 1934. Find out more about him on the Disney website.
Step2
Know Donald Duck's family and friends. The most popular characters known in the United States are his Uncle Scrooge and Uncle Ludwig Von Drake, as well as nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie. Of course, don't forget his long-time girlfriend, Daisy Duck as well as his nemesis chipmunks Chip 'n Dale.
Step3
Watch the 120-plus cartoons which feature Donald Duck, as well as the countless others where he is a co-star along some of Disney's other favorites such as Mickey Mouse and Goofy. He appears in both movies and TV shows. Read any comics featuring Donald and play the video games he headlines or makes an appearance in.
Step4
Celebrate him yearly on his birthday--or all of them--as well as Christmas. His official birthday is June 9, 1934. However in the "Three Caballeros" it is given as Friday 13 and in "Donald's Happy Birthday" it is March 13. Spend the holiday season every year watching the Christmas specials Donald is a part of, such as "Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas" and "Mickey's Christmas Carol."
Step5
Act like Donald Duck every now and again. Practice sounding like him and explode into fits of anger when things don't go your way. Refuse to give up on your ideas, even when it gets you into trouble. Say things to people such as "Oh yeah" in an argument, "Hiya toots" to someone attractive or "Aw, phooey" when something doesn't go your way. Go to Oregon State University where Donald Duck is the school mascot.
Step6
Visit places where there are tributes to Donald Duck. Every fan should attend Disney Land and Disney World to meet him. Purchase products featuring Donald here and in many stores, such as the Disney Store. See his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
