The game of rugby is demanding, and it's important to have the right gear in order to play it well. Perhaps you're lucky enough to have a rugby shop in your area. If not, don't despair--there are plenty of places to purchase high quality rugby gear.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Visit the World Rugby Shop website (see Resources below). Ask for a catalog and you'll be able to purchase everything from shoes to headgear.

  2. Step 2

Go to the Team Kooga website (see Resources below). Here you'll find a wide range of merchandise, including shoes, socks, shirts and shorts for rugby play.

  3. Step 3

Talk to your rugby coach. Many clubs place bulk orders for their gear to save money on shipping. See if your team is interested in placing a bulk order.

  4. Step 4

Try the Rugby Megastore website (see Resources below). This British company features items from a number of manufacturers.

Tips & Warnings
  • You'll also find training DVDs, DVDs of great games and books on rugby in the World Rugby Shop catalog.
  • It is important to get a good fit with your rugby gear. While much of the equipment can be adjusted, some of it is size specific. Try gear on before you buy it. Many online vendors will allow you to return and exchange ill-fitting gear.
  • There are so many places to buy rugby gear online that it is impossible to mention all of them. Ask people in your rugby club, and especially your coaches, about their experiences with various online rugby vendors.
