2
Lay your baby on the main section of the blanket. Position him so that the tops of his shoulders are even with the top of the Miracle Blanket.

Place your baby's feet into the foot pouch. Lift your baby's bottom gently and slide his feet into the pouch.

Wrap your baby's arms with the Miracle Blanket arm covers. Bring the cover for his right arm over his arm and tuck it under his back. Do the same for his left arm. His arms should be snug by his sides but be careful not to wrap his arms too tight.

5
Tuck the shorter "arm" of the Miracle Blanket under your baby's back. The end of the "arm" should fit between the baby's arm and side.
-
6
Finish the swaddle. Wrap the long "arm" of the Miracle Blanket around your baby two times or until the end of the "arm" is under your baby. The swaddle should be snug but not tight. Your baby's weight will keep the swaddle in place.

I don't understand why the blanket shouldn't be used in the first weeks. My baby was born four weeks early, and the NICU ward used a Miracle Blanket on her until she came home from the hospital and recommended that I continued using them until she was five months old (four months adjusted). It worked wonders for us and I can't imagine gong those early weeks without it! -
