Step1
Show up for a general information session at Northeastern University. General information sessions occur Monday through Saturday during the school year and Monday through Friday in the summer. There is no reservation needed for a general information session.
Step2
Come to an Engineering Wednesday at Northeastern if you are interested in the engineering program. There is a presentation on the program followed by a tour of the Snell Engineering Center. The session lasts about 2 hours and begins at 11 a.m. every Wednesday. You do not have to make a reservation.
Step3
Attend a Health Science Day to learn more about the Health Science program at Northeastern. These let you meet faculty in the program and take a tour of the Behrakis Health Science Center. You do not have to make reservations but there are only a few dates so check the Northeastern website to find the best time for you to visit.
Step4
Go to a transfer information session if you are considering transferring into Northeastern from another school. These sessions will give you information on how to transfer into Northeastern and what policies they have about transfer students. Transfer sessions are offered a few times a month. You can find schedules on the Northeastern website.
Step5
Visit the surrounding Boston area. There is a lot to do in Boston, especially in the area around Northeastern. Boston is home to more than 100,000 college students so there is lots of entertainment geared for college students. Check the Northeastern website for ideas on things to see, where to eat and places to stay.
