Step 1
Talk with an admissions representative to schedule an official visit. Campus visits at Kent State University are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. You need to make reservations by calling the Admissions Office at (800) 988-5368. The university also offers Academic Discovery Days and Academic Tour Days for an in-depth look at the university and its academic programs.

Step 2
Explore The First Year Experience, a housing complex designed for freshmen. It comprises of eight resident halls with double rooms and deluxe double rooms. The Quad is designed for upperclassmen and offers four resident halls with double rooms only. Most resident halls are co-ed, with the exception of Olson and Verder Halls, which are all-female halls. Suite living is available at the Twin Towers Complex and apartments are available at the New Front Complex.

Step 3
Question current students and faculty. Academic Tour Days focus on different academic department tours with faculty available to meet with you. To catch up with students, visit The Kent Student Center or the Student Recreation and Wellness Center.

Step 4
Walk The Esplanade, a series of walkways winding from the Student Center to the front of campus near Kent Hall. As you walk through campus, visit the May 4 memorial sites. These include the Center for Peaceful Change, the May 4 Resource Center, the May 4 Marker located in Prentice Hall and the "Kent Four" sculpture near the School of Art building.

Step 5
Join the students for a meal. The university offers over 20 dining locations throughout campus. Head over to The Kent Student Center for Kent Market I and II. Also located in the student center are Sunset Strips, Einstein Bros. Bagels, A & W and Quiznos. Head to Jazzman's Coffee Cart located in Kent State Library for a coffee or mocha.

Step 6
Support the Golden Flashes, who play in the Allerton Sports Complex. Other recreational activities which include the Adventure Center, intramural sports, over 30 club sports and community leagues are hosted by the Department of Recreational Services.
