How to Join the Air Force Caucus

There are two ways to join the Air Force Caucus. The first is to join by Congressional representation and the second is by general membership to the Air Force Association for individuals and businesses. Most contributions made to the Air Force Association are tax deductible. There are a variety of contribution plans that can be created through a general membership. The Congressional membership ensures that the Air Force agenda is recognized by representation on Capitol Hill.

    Join the Air Force Association

  1. Step 1

    Contribute to the Air Force Association (AFA) in a variety of ways. These ways can be financial or volunteering time by performing administrative tasks and canvassing door to door, providing information and collecting donations.

  2. Step 2

    Arrange to develop a gift planning service by contributing investment assets that provide benefits to both yourself and the AFA.

  3. Step 3

    Become a regular and consistent donor by entering the AFA's Legacy of Flight Wings Club. You will be recognized in a variety of ways for contributing to the many initiatives that the AFA as established.

  4. Step 4

    Be prepared to have the amount of your contribution made public by law from the Air Force Association.

    Discover whether or not your local district representatives are members of the Air Force Caucus. Membership is open and encouraged from all political parties. Providing a legislative side to Air Force agendas ensures they are heard on Capitol Hill.

  7. Step 2

    Write to your district representative encouraging them to join the Air Force Caucus. Explain to them why you support the caucus's initiatives and causes. Provide signed petitions from local community members to support your request.

  8. Step 3

    Require your representative to take a prioritized look at all issues pertaining to the Air Force and linking armed forces divisions when they join the Air Force Caucus.

  • Only Congressional representatives may join the Air Force Caucus.

  • You do not have to be a retired Air Force veteran to join the Air Force Caucus, but many members are.
