Find the seam on the side of a large paper grocery bag.

Use scissors to cut down the seam to open up the bag. Remove the bottom of the bag as well.

  4. Step 4

Turn the paper so that the plain brown side is facing up.

Place a Hanukkah themed cookie cutter on the brown paper and trace inside it with a pencil. You can buy cookie cutters in the shape of dreidels, Stars of David and menorahs in most kitchen supply stores.

  6. Step 6

Repeat the tracing process until your brown paper is covered with outlines from the cookie cutters.

  7. Step 7

Color the traced shapes with markers or crayon. Traditional colors for Hanukkah are blue and white.

Use a glitter glue pen to further decorate your Hanukkah gift wrapping paper. Outline the shapes you have colored with glitter or make other sparkly designs on your paper.
