    Make Kwanzaa Gift Wrapping Paper

  1. Step 1

Unroll a tube of brown packing paper or a similar style paper. Select a lightweight grade so you can easily manipulate it.

  2. Step 2

Cut about a yard of the brown paper and smooth it out on a flat surface. To decorate your Kwanzaa gift wrapping paper use rubber stamps and ink pads to press logos onto the paper.

  3. Step 3

Find rubber stamps with harvest images, the Kwanzaa candle holder, fruit baskets, and word symbols such as "pride" and "unity." Stamp the paper in a random fashion using your main colors of red, black and green. To make your wrapping paper really stand out, go to Findastamp.com for the supplies you will need and discover where to get them near you (see Resources below).

  4. Step 4

Print out clip art to make Kwanzaa wrapping paper. Many craft stores sell sheets of 12-by-12-inch paper stock and other sizes that you could decorate with clip art. Secure Kwanzaa icons like black angels, vegetables, flags and candles.

  5. Step 5

Adhere the clip art to the paper with craft or paper glue. Be sure and get a clear-drying glue to hide any mishaps. Wrap books and mementos with the decorated paper.

  6. Step 6

Unfurl a Kwanzaa flag to use as a gift wrapping tool. This is a unique choice if you are wrapping a very large item or a gift basket. Secure the top of the flag with twine or a raffia bow.
