How to Self Tan using Self Tanning Lotion. Without Getting Burnt

This is how to use suntan self tanning lotion to get a flawless tan so that you don't burn too badly.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Self Tanning Lotion
  • Sun
  • Time
  • More Self Tanning Suntan Lotion

Step1
Purchase a safe suntan self tanning lotion from a drug store or a specialty store.
Step2
Apply Sun tanning lotion evenly 15-30 minutes before going into the sun. Then Lay out in the sun for a few hours. If you began to burn see step 3.
Step3
Apply more lotion once you feel the sun tanning lotion began to fade. If you go in the water make sure to re-apply the sun tanning lotion right after you get out.

Tips & Warnings

  • Be aware of your tanning progress
  • Have enough sun tanning lotion

on 3/27/2008 If you are going to lay out anyway to get a tan. You must have this product call the Coolounge Misting System. It a product that attaches to your lounge chair and garden hose. It provided water misting all over your body when you want relief from the sun. check out the website www.thecoolounge.com
It lower temperature up to 25 degrees and minimize sun burn. If you sun tan, it's Must product

on 7/12/2007 The only problem I think that most people don't pay attention to is that sun tanning lotion doesn't stop the UV rays from entering your skin. But since people are obliviously out to get tan then I guess sun tanning lotion is the next best thing instead of sunscreen. I checked the Sun Labs site and liked their products though I have never purchased sun tanning lotion before - I just wore sunscreen. I wonder what sun tan oil would do instead of sun tanning lotion, or is it the same
