Have you ever watched a WWE event, and wished to know more about it? Do you want to become a dedicated WWE fan? Becoming a true WWE fan takes time and effort, but in time you can become a WWE encyclopedia!

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • A Television
  • Access to the Internet
  • Some spare time
  • a passiom for Pro Wrestling

Step1
Watch WWE Television regularly. In order to become a true fan, you need to watch the progamming that WWE offers. These shows are Raw, Smackdown, and ECW. Each program features a different roster of wrestlers and a different feel. Watch the shows intently the first few times, and get used to the way the programming runs.
Step2
Get to know the Rules of WWE. WWE rules are unique, and can be confusing at first. If you watch the programming more, you will get the hang of the way matches work. Basically, a wrestler wins via have the shoulders of his opponent on the ground for three seconds or having them tap out to a submission hold. You can also win via Disqalification, Count Out, or Knockout.
Step3
Shawn Michaels Hitting the "Sweet Chin Music" on Hulk Hogan Know the Superstars. After you have watched the programming for a few weeks, get to know the roster better by visiting pro wrestling websites and on WWE's official homepage. You don't need to memorize all of them, but make sure you know the major players of each brand, and the main finishing moves.
Step4
Know the History. Study up on the history of the company, and get to know the historic legends of the business, such as Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin. Going to the WWE homepage is a good idea to study the history.
Step5
Get inside the working of the business. Go to a wrestling news or behind the scenes website that is credible. You will learn alot about how the business works, and about recent events not shown on WWE television.
Step6
Become part of the action. Go to a WWE event and see the superstars in real life. This is an experience any true WWE fan should do at least once in their life.
Step7
Buy a WWE Pay-Per-View. This is where most of the better matches take place and where fueds are resolved. In order to become a true fan, try ordering at least one or two pay per views a year to know what they are like.
Step8
Enjoy it! Obviously you shouldn't become a fan if you don't enjoy wrestling. If you don't, then take up another hobby, such as sports, or rock collecting.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you don't have time to watch all WWE programming, pick one that you enjoy the most and watch that instead. Most of the time the shows do not have the same storylines so it would be safe to do so.
  • WWE Raw is on USA network at 9:00pm EST on Monday nights. Smackdown is on the CW at 8:00pm EST on Friday nights. Both shows run two hours in length. ECW is one hour and is on Sci-Fi at 10:00pm EST on Tuesday nights.
  • There are alternatives to WWE, one of which is TNA, which is on SPIKE TV on Thursdays at 9:00pm EST.
  • If you don't order a Pay Per View, make sure you know what happened there so you don't get left in the dark.
  • If you can't decide which PPV to order, Order the biggest PPV of the year, Wrestlemania. This is where the biggest action and matches take place. If you want to order more than one, order either the Royal Rumble, Summerslam, or Survivor Series. These are bigger PPV's.
  • Don't become obsessed with professional wrestling. There is life outside of it.
  • Remember never to perform these moves at home. Professional wrestling is done by trained professionals and should never be done by any untrained person.
