The Oxford Folk Festival enters it's fifth year in 2008. Taking place from April 11-13, it is a weekend of ceilidhs, workshops, dancing and of course folk music, spilling onto the Oxford streets and various venues across the city centre.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Check out the Oxford Folk Festival website (link below).
Step2
Book your tickets. A limited number of early bird tickets are currently available if you send a check to the address listed on the website. Early bird tickets are priced at £44.50, but will be more expensive closer to the date.
Step3
Plan how to get there. If you are driving you can get directions from the AA link below. The best place to leave your car is at the Oxford Park and Ride. There is both a train and bus station a few minutes walk from the city centre.
Step4
Book your accommodation. There is no camping available at the festival, but there is plenty of bed and breakfasts, hostels and hotels in the city. For more information, go to the Tourist Information link below.
