Step1
Visit the festival website in the run up to the start. Check for changes to the artist line-up, weather reports and transportation problems.

If you are planning to stay at the festival, book accommodation early as plenty of other people will have the same idea!

Visit the free lunchtime gigs and the Lewes Guitar Makers exhibition at the Star Gallery which showcases instruments from the town.

Book early if you want to attend the guitar workshop classes as there is always a great deal of interest!

Book tickets for trains and coaches well before the festival date as many other revellers will be using these services. Tickets are often far cheaper is booked in advance than they are nearer the date of travel too.

If travelling by car, plan your journey online and with your map book. Check for parking areas on the festival website and find out if a parking permit is required. Expect queues and congestion upon arrival at the festival. Consider park and ride schemes, discussed on the festival website.
