A mini travel fridge is a staple for many people on road trips or camping trips. Portable fridges allow you to keep your drinks cold, and keep meat and dairy products from turning. It can save you money in the long run, keeping you away from fast food places. Mini travel fridges can be purchased from many locations and may be grouped or itemized at many businesses as portable coolers.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Visit Amazon online if you want to shop at home for a mini travel fridge. Amazon allows you to read reviews from other people so you can choose a good mini fridge for your purposes.

  2. Step 2

Shop at camping or outdoor stores such as REI, Sports Chalet and Sports Authority. These stores will allow you to speak to sales associates and see products in person, rather than relying on reviews. You can even get additional camping or road trip equipment at the same time you buy a mini travel fridge.

  3. Step 3

Try shopping on eBay for used and new mini travel fridges. EBay allows you to get a discount on the price of your fridge. You can even get a used fridge that may have only been used once or twice for a huge discount. However, shipping costs for a mini travel fridge may be high due to the weight.

  4. Step 4

Go to discount chain stores. These stores also sell mini travel fridges, in the camping and outdoor sections. While you may not have the options that you have at camping stores, you will be able to get a basic fridge that may meet your needs for a good price.
