How to Make Cinnamon and Sugar Butter

There is nothing better than the smell of fresh cinnamon raisin bread in the toaster. The aromas almost lure people to the kitchen. Things You'll Need

  • 1/2 lb. unsalted butter
  • 4 tbsp. sugar
  • Cinnamon sticks
  • Spice grater

Instructions

      Remove butter from the fridge and allow it to soften on the counter for about 30 minutes.

      Grate fresh cinnamon until you accumulate 6 tsp. in a bowl.

      Combine the butter and the sugar along with the cinnamon in the bowl.

      Mix the contents of the bowl with a hand mixer on low until the ingredients are well mixed. Your butter will be brown in color when you're done. Now go spread the butter on some toast and enjoy.

Tips & Warnings

  • The butter will keep about 10 days in the fridge. If you have excess, it freezes well.

  • Try adding just a hint of nutmeg and vanilla for an extra special taste.
