Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Visit your local Mini-Cooper dealer for a test drive. There are Mini-Coopers to choose from, including convertibles and the high-performance Cooper S and Cooper S convertible.
Step2
Look for incentives and rebates from your local dealer. They may offer cash rebates, or low interest financing in addition to Mini-cooper's regular savings programs.
Step3
Interact with your salesman. Ask questions as you test drive the car. Think about your daily commute and what it entails, and the cost of insurance and upkeep before committing yourself to a particular model.
Step4
Design your own Mini-cooper. Select your own body color, details, roof, even the cockpit style from a list of available items. Most features are standard and some, like metallic paint or a British racing green roof, cost extra. There is a "build your own MINI" option on the Mini-cooper website so you can experiment with different designs.
Step5
Choose a financing option. MINI offers several programs, including MINI-select, owner's choice, an easy payment plan, traditional financing, leasing and a program for recent college graduates.
